Se caută câștigătorul premiului “Corneliu M. Popescu”

Ramona Mitrică este antreprenor cultural la Londra. Este publisher prin propria sa editură ce publică și carte româneasca și de asemenea organizează anual un Festival de film românesc. În ediția din iunie 2013 a revistei Contemporanul puteți citi un amplu interviu pe care a avut amabilitatea să mi-l acorde.

Call for Submissions for 2013 Corneliu M Popescu Prize for Poetry in Translation
The Poetry Society announces that the 2013 Corneliu M Popescu Prize. The closing date for submissions is 31 July 2013.
A £1,000 prize will be awarded to the translator of a volume of poetry translated from a European language into English and published between 1 June 2011 and 30 June 2013.

Three copies of each book should be sent to: Popescu Prize 2013, The Poetry Society, 22 Betterton Street, London WC2H 9BX, UK.
Each submission must be accompanied by a completed entry form (photocopies permissible). Further details from marketing@poetrysociety.org.uk
Submissions can be made by the publisher, translator or poet. Self-published work is ineligible.
Judges Karen Leeder and David Wheatley will compile a shortlist by October. The winner will be announced in winter 2013.
Previous winners include:
2011 Judith Wilkinson won the prize with her translation of Toon Tellegen’s Raptors.
2009 translator Randall Crouch for Madwomen by Gabriela Mistral (University of Chicago Press)
2007 translator Ilmar Lehtpere for The Drums of Silence by Kristiina Ehin (Oleander Press)
2005 translators Adam J Sorkin & Lidia Vianu for The Bridge by Marin Sorescu (Bloodaxe)
2003 translator David Constantine for Lighter than Air by Hans Magnus Enzensberger (Bloodaxe)
The first winner of the Prize, in 1983, was Tony Harrison for The Oresteia.
